Looking forward to RecSys 2024!
Last year I spent almost two months being a fly-on-the-wall at VG - Verdens Gang AS hosted by their data team, to see how news personalization can be done in Norway. At INRA workshop I will be presenting the outcomes of my stay with VG, talking a bit about how we can help the editorial staff a bit with news personalization and what it leads us to. Our Survey on Popularity Bias in Recommendation is out!
After the long process of literature collection, analysis, systematization, going through reviewing and revisions - I’m very happy to say that we have finally published the literature survey on popularity bias at UMUAI journal! You can read it here.
ECIR 2025
Funnily enough, my PhD started with a workshop paper at ECIR, and now that I’m approaching the finish line I got one last trip to ECIR to present another paper again. Hope to see many familiar faces in Lucca! You can take a peek at our paper in a pre-print here.
